Hays are currently supporting an exciting Retail and Manufacturing company within the creative industry based in Birmingham City Centre. They are looking to recruit on a 3-6 month basis for an Accounts Payable Clerk. This role is office based with flexi-time.
Your new role
* Receiving and distributing invoices via Adobe for approval
* Maintaining a shared mailbox, actioning, and answering queries in a timely manner
* Coding and processing invoices accurately to make sure payments are correct and on time
* Requesting and reconciling monthly supplier statements
* Preparing and processing payment runs
* Working with suppliers and staff internally to answer queries
* Supporting the preparation of management accounts and month-end duties including pulling together accruals
* General accounts administration
* Daily Cashbook maintaining and cashbook journals
* Any adhoc tasks required by the AP Manager or by the business
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous Accounts Payable experience
- You must be able to work onsite 5 days a week
- Previous Sage 1000 experience is desirable
