Manufacturing Engineer - Aerospace Belfast | £38,000 - £42,000 | Permanent | Monday - Friday (Day Shift) An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join a well-established engineering company at their state-of-the-art facility in Belfast. This role offers the chance to work on advanced manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, quality, and innovation within a fast-paced production environment. The Role As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will: Develop and optimise manufacturing processes to ensure high quality and efficiency. Design and specify tooling, fixtures, and new methods to support production. Drive process improvements, introducing technical innovation and best practices. Support new product introduction, ensuring smooth transitions into manufacturing. Manage change control processes, BOMs, and technical documentation. Provide technical support to production, supply chain, quality, and CI teams. Contribute to operator training on new processes and technologies. Liaise with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure delivery of high standards. About You HNC/D or higher in Mechanical Engineering (Degree desirable). Minimum 3 years' experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a manufacturing/engineering environment. Strong background in at least one of the following: anodising, bonding, painting, assembly, or automated spray processes. Confident in problem-solving tools (e.g. 3Cs, 8Ds) and process improvement techniques. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills. CAD and ERP system experience desirable. Aerospace or regulated industry background would be an advantage. What's on Offer Salary £38,000 - £42,000 (depending on experience). Monday to Friday day shift role - no weekends. 25 days holiday plus 8 statutory days (accrued in hours). Defined contribution pension scheme (7% company contribution).
