Job Opportunity: PHP Back End Developer
Join our talented Digital Team to build websites and apps for well-known brands. Take responsibility for projects and collaborate closely with team members, sharing your IT/digital skills.
About You
You are enthusiastic, focused, passionate about coding, and eager to embrace new technologies. You have at least 2+ years of experience as a back-end developer with solid technical knowledge, including modern programming skills.
You possess excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and are comfortable in client meetings. You are team-oriented, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines.
Essential and Desirable Skills
* Proven experience in back-end web development
* Proficiency in PHP and MySQL
* Experience building responsive, mobile-first websites
* Collaboration with front-end developers
* Knowledge of current coding techniques and best practices
* Computer science qualification (degree or equivalent)
* Knowledge of .NET (Visual Studio, C#) and Umbraco
* Understanding of UX/UI design principles
* Experience with app development for iOS and Android
* Knowledge of SEO strategies, form tracking, and split testing
* Experience with SVN and version control management
