GSL Education are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join schools in the Conisbrough (DN12) area. This role offers the opportunity to deliver engaging History lessons, support students’ academic growth, and contribute to a dynamic and collaborative school environment. Responsibilities as a History Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of pupils across Key Stages. Support pupils’ critical thinking, analytical skills, and overall academic progress. Implement effective classroom management strategies to create a positive learning atmosphere. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum resources and share best teaching practices. Provide constructive feedback and assess pupil progress in line with curriculum requirements. Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students. Requirements for History Teacher: UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is mandatory. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for History is desirable. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Ability to engage and inspire pupils of varying abilities. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
