Role Overview: Field Technician
As a Field Technician at Laundry365, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, and repair of commercial & industrial laundry equipment, commercial dishwashers and sluice room equipment. This role requires a Gas Safe registered technician capable of working independently, traveling to various client sites, and communicating effectively with customers. The role will also involve carrying out small installations and assisting with larger installations as and when required. Administrative tasks and accurate record-keeping are also essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance to optimize performance and equipment longevity.
* Troubleshoot and Repair: Efficiently diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues.
* Maintain Certification: Keep active Gas Safe registration and adhere to all gas appliance safety protocols.
* Handle Gas Appliances Safely: Install, maintain, and repair in accordance with Gas Safe guidelines.
* Effective Communication: Understand customer needs, explain work performed, and provide clear operational instructions.
* Deliver Quality Service: Ensure customer satisfaction through professional and timely interactions.
* Travel Willingness: Be prepared to travel to various client sites, sometimes at short notice, for small installations, maintenance, and repairs.
* Efficient Time Management: Maximise productivity by managing travel schedules effectively.
* Autonomous Operation: Work independently, making on-the-job decisions and taking initiative to resolve issues.
* Problem Solving: Apply critical thinking to troubleshoot and efficiently resolve equipment problems.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Gas Safe Registered: Must be Gas Safe Registered. Can be in any category, further training will be supplied.
* Maintenance and Repair Expertise: Skilled in both mechanical and electrical maintenance and repair.
* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical information to customers.
* Customer Service Orientation: Focus on meeting customer needs and ensuring satisfaction.
* Administrative Proficiency: Competent in record-keeping, reporting, and inventory management.
* Initiative: Ability to take initiative, solve problems, and make decisions independently.
* Flexibility: Willingness to travel and adapt to changing schedules and job requirements.
