We are currently seeking a dynamic Science Teacher to join a school in South Cumbria on a long-term basis, starting immediately. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the curriculum, effective communication skills, and a dedication to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Deliver engaging and informative Science lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; experience with KS5 is advantageous but not essential.
* Utilise strong subject knowledge to enhance student learning and meet curriculum standards.
* Maintain effective classroom management skills to create a conducive learning environment.
* Demonstrate reliability and commitment to the role, acting as a good role model with qualities of compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and good listening skills.
* Work collaboratively with other teaching staff and contribute to the school’s objectives.
