FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT – Belfast - £50,000-£55,000 - Hybrid

Reed is partnered with a NI Top 100 Business in Belfast, in the appointment of a qualified & experienced Financial Accountant on a permanent and full-time basis.

This newly created role is to support the Head of Finance and wider finance team.

The Financial Accountant will ensure the integrity, accuracy, and compliance of  financial information, supporting statutory reporting, strengthening financial controls, and providing high-quality financial insights to enhance business performance. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and possess strong technical expertise with a focus on continuous improvement.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Financial Reporting & Statutory Compliance
• General Ledger & Financial Control
• Compliance, Controls & Continuous Improvement
• Financial Analysis & Reporting
• Month-End & Period Close
• Audit & External Reporting
• Tax & Regulatory Compliance
• Cash Flow & Liquidity:
• Fixed Assets & Capital Accounting

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• You will be a fully qualified Accountant with strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (IFRS/GAAP).
• Proven experience in financial reporting, statutory compliance, and controls.
• Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and a continuous improvement mindset.
