Position: Mobile Patrol Officer
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Hours: 48 hours per week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday – Nights)
Location: Newcastle (NE12 9TS)
️ Start Date: ASAP / by 26th May
Experience: 1 year of mobile patrol experience preferred
Transport: Must drive and have access to a vehicle (Gateshead, Tyne and Wear, NE11 9NE)
Requirements:
Valid SIA Licence (Security Industry Authority), Valid SIA Licence (in hand)
Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
Flexibility to travel between multiple sites
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and bank holidays
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Right to Work in the UK
5-year checkable work history
Previous Mobile Patrol Or Security Experience (preferred)
Basic IT literacy – for reports and system use
Ability to work independently and manage time well
Strong situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure
Job Description
Job Opportunity
* Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and deter unauthorised activities
* Maintain accurate and detailed records of daily activities, incidents and observations, including completing necessary paperwork in a timely manner
* Enforce access control policies by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points
* Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises, following established protocols and procedures
* Respond to emergencies and security incidents, taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of individuals and property

Qualifications
Essential Requirements & Skills – Relief Security Officer
* Valid SIA Licence
* Minimum 1 year of security experience
* Access to a vehicle or excellent transport links to get to site
* Right to Work in the UK and 5-year checkable work history
* Willingness to learn and adapt
* Reliable and flexible with shift patterns (days, nights, weekends)
* Strong customer service skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
