Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Sales Manager (Retail & Wholesale) to take real ownership of our client's retail and wholesale sales and help them grow in a way that’s practical, profitable and true to who they are. This is a B2B role.
You will be in front of buyers, opening doors, negotiating,following things through. You won’t have a sales team behind you, so you’ll need to be comfortable doing the work yourself.
Are you: ● Comfortable pulling on wellies and showing buyers around the farm ● Genuinely interested in food and farming ● A practical problem solver who looks for solutions ● Straight-talking, organised and resilient ● Motivated by doing things properly, not by job titles
The commercial challenge is clear:
* Double sales in the next 12 months
* Secure at least one major retail listing or export deal
You'll be responsible for:
* Selling & new business
* Looking after key accounts
* Trade shows, events & hosting buyers
* Problem solving & internal collaboration
Part time, hybrid (open to any working hours)
Offices based near Swindon.
Salary up to c £48k FTE DOE (Bonus up to £8,000 per annum, linked to profitable new business, new listings)
