Social Worker – Looked After Children Team, Leicester City Council
Pay rate £38 per hour. Contract roles.
We are recruiting for an experienced Social Worker to work in a Looked After Children Team in Leicester City Council. You will need experience in a similar Local Authority role.
* Specific LAC experience desired but would consider someone with a background in CP / Assessment who has some LAC experience.
* Working arrangements – Generally two days a week as a target to build relationships with team, subject to the visits and meetings.
* Caseload numbers – 20
* Would consider condensed hours.
* Parking arrangements – With it being the city centre is there a supplement or discount available? Nearby city centre parking available which is reimbursed.
* To fill vacant post, 6 months+ likely.
* Progression of care plans for children and young people with a plan of remaining in care, with consideration to discharge of care order and SGO.
