Are you passionate about delivering exceptional HR services and driving operational excellence? We're looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner (HR Operations) to join our client's HR team and play a pivotal role in managing the HR team.
Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you'll be responsible for providing a customer-focused HR service across the business. You'll work closely with operational leaders to deliver the People Plan, supporting initiatives around talent, recruitment, engagement, performance, and more.
This role is a 6-month fixed term contract, based from home but with travel to the head office in York and other sites.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and managers.
* Deliver HR solutions aligned with the People Plan, covering the full employee lifecycle.
* Lead and support the HR Advisory team in managing complex or high-risk employee relations cases.
* Collaborate across the wider HR team to support strategic people initiatives and ensure consistent HR operational delivery.
* Champion best practice in HR processes and contribute to continuous improvement.

* Proven experience in a HR Business Partner, HR Manager or similar role, ideally within a complex operational environment.
* Strong knowledge of employee relations, case management, and HR best practices.
* Experience working with unions.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a passion for driving positive change.
