Salary: £38,000 + sales incentive bonus
Location: Salford Quays (M50 3SP)
Type: Permanent, Full Time (37.5 hours)
Schedule: Monday – Friday
Working pattern: Office based with Hybrid working options available once signed off.
Responsibilities
* Manage, lead and monitor a team of sales account managers to drive trading performance while ensuring consistently good customer outcomes.
* Support the delivery of operational KPIs, processes and projects in SME Retention; ensure all training and competency requirements are met and drive the implementation of our growth strategy.
* Manage day‑to‑day adviser behaviour and attitude, ensuring motivation and focus.
* Conduct regular team meetings, one‑to‑one meetings and formal 6‑monthly performance reviews, monitoring adviser performance against objectives and role competencies.
* Manage operational service levels, ensuring full adherence to rotas.
* Mentor advisers to attain sales targets by providing regular feedback and setting relevant targets and objectives.
Key Skills / Qualifications
* Previous experience of leading a high performing sales team
* Previous experience of driving commercial performance and achieving commercial business targets
* Previous experience of driving change within a sales or operational environment
* Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective internal and external relationships
* Able to make important decisions within agreed parameters and day to day decisions without referral
* Experience of managing budgets, tracking operational performance, and understanding capacity planning
* Experience of principles of continuous improvementProven experience of stakeholder management at a senior level
