Position title: Commissioning Engineer (f/m/d) for Communication and Networking in HVDC Systems

How You’ll Make an Impact
1. You are responsible for technically flawless, on-time and economical handling of the commissioning of HVDC systems on our construction sites (worldwide) especially for data networks and individual components of network communication SCADA- Level
2. Responsibility for the commissioning, support, and control of the predominantly TCP/IP-based network infrastructure, HMI concept, and their purpose-specific adaptation
3. Responsibility for time synchronization as well as the local and remote signal converter and thus interface to all other involved signal suppliers
4. Support for other commissioning components as well as customers and external partners in troubleshooting and testing communication interfaces
5. Support for IBS management in quality, risk, and claim management
6. Participation in improvement programs (including Lean, reviews, and lessons learned)
What You Bring
7. Completed degree in electrical engineering, energy technology or comparable education / qualification
8. Experience in network administration (switches, routers, etc.), basic HMI, and PC administration (hardware and virtualization)
9. Basic knowledge of network protocols (including TCP/IP, RADIUS) as well as network security and monitoring
10. Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and precisely
11. Fluent German and English language skills
12. Class B driving license for Germany
13. Handling of circuit diagrams and electrical systems / measuring instruments
14. Preferable Skilled electrician
15. Willingness for worldwide business trips and long-term assignments on construction sites in Germany and abroad, as well as optional assignments on offshore platforms (> 6 Month)
