Reporting to the MEP Construction Manager in Region, the key Requirements include:
* 3rd Level Building Services / Mechanical Engineering Degree and/or Trade background
* Minimum 3 years’ plus experience in a site-based MEP role
* Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a high-performance team
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure Mechanical activities are completed safely, prioritizing Health and Safety of all stakeholders.
* Lead by example, ensuring all stakeholders are aware of and adhere to Company-specific Health & Safety policies and procedures.
* Be fully aware of hazardous energies and site-specific management strategies (Lock Out Tag Out).
* Have a comprehensive understanding of project Mechanical systems and monitor their installation for compliance with specifications and schedule.
* Assist in developing project-specific Commissioning Implementation Plans (CIPs) and understand project commissioning requirements.
* Conduct site inspections of Mechanical, BAS/BMS, MEP & CSA works to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
* Coordinate that rooms or areas meet CSA and MEP Quality standards for advanced Beneficial Use, aligned with the master construction program.
* Provide stakeholders with sufficient information to facilitate system installation and progress in line with the master schedule.
* Ensure contractors and vendors are adequately resourced to complete their works efficiently.
* Review the master construction schedule to identify opportunities for optimizing Mechanical and CSA scope execution.
* Chair and contribute to onsite and offsite meetings with project stakeholders.
* Issue weekly progress and cost reports as required.
* Manage sub-contractor activities, tracking progress and manpower levels.
* Review and ensure production of necessary documentation by system stakeholders, including programs, work trackers, risk assessments, progress reports, and handover packs.
