We are looking for ambitious sales professionals with MedTech/Device and clinical trial sales experience seeking a new challenge.
The role of Director, Business Development includes the following responsibilities:
1. Be accountable for an individual annual target, selling to sponsor and biotech clients.
2. Independently lead the sales process, including planning and implementation of sales activities.
3. Assist with identification of bid defense team participants and educate them on client culture, operational needs/methods, and sales techniques.
4. Identify accounts with potential to become global key accounts.
5. Lead the preparation of sponsor presentations, including general capabilities and bid defense presentations.
6. Understand and identify potential growth areas through market research and competitive landscape analysis.
The Director, Business Development role is an individual contributor position focused on new account acquisition and business development, offering the opportunity to sell our full-service capabilities and expertise in the MedTech/device sector.
We are hiring in the United Kingdom or in Europe (Spain, Germany, and/or Netherlands).
Candidates with the following skills, knowledge, and experience are encouraged to apply:
* At least 5 years of CRO sales, commercial, or client relationship experience with a proven record in selling complex multi-service offerings.
* A hunter and proven new business winner.
* Ability to lead regional sales strategy and process independently.
* Ability to provide regular metrics to the VP.
* Proven experience in business lead generation.
* In-depth knowledge of how a CRO operates, gained from working within a full-service CRO.
