Contracts Manager - Newtownabbey
Gentech Recruitment is partnering with our client in Newtownabbey to recruit a Contracts Manager. This is a permanent position with extensive benefits, working Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Friday from 8am to 3pm.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop project delivery teams to ensure timely project completion.
2. Communicate regularly with clients via online meetings, face-to-face meetings, and on-site discussions to ensure satisfaction and project forecasts.
3. Ensure efficiency of managers and site teams, setting high-level objectives with target dates.
4. Verify that project value, drawings, specifications, and orders are agreed upon before work begins.
5. Coordinate with project teams to ensure templates and setouts are prepared for construction.
6. Procure plant and equipment according to specifications and client requirements.
7. Forecast project spend and communicate projections to operations and commercial teams.
8. Assess labor and subcontractor requirements for installation work.
9. Review and assist in the preparation of monthly applications and valuations.
10. Attend monthly meetings to review team performance and project budgets.
11. Assist in the preparation of O&M manuals and ensure all as-built drawings and certifications are completed.
12. Track project performance weekly and report progress to the client.
13. Work with the Operations Manager to forecast additional resource needs.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous management experience in a similar role.
* Ability to take ownership and demonstrate willingness to grow.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with excellent attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills internally and externally.
* Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
* Management experience delivering projects between £3m - £10m.
