The Opportunity
We're partnering with an ambitious and growing UK organisation seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to join its high-performing finance team.
This is a broad, highly visible role that will see you working closely with senior stakeholders across the business, helping to drive performance through insightful analysis, robust financial planning, and effective commercial challenge.
The position would suit a qualified accountant looking to move beyond traditional reporting and become a genuine partner to the wider business.
The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you will support a range of operational and commercial stakeholders, providing financial insight that supports strategic and day-to-day decision making.
Key responsibilities include:
* Partnering with senior leaders to improve financial performance and support growth initiatives.
* Delivering budgeting, forecasting and planning activities.
* Producing insightful management information and performance analysis.
* Identifying risks, opportunities and areas for improved profitability.
* Supporting investment appraisals, business cases and strategic projects.
* Developing financial models to aid commercial decision making.
* Providing challenge and support to budget holders and operational teams.
* Contributing to continuous improvement across finance processes and reporting.
About You
We're looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with previous experience in a commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering environment.
You’ll be able to demonstrate:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modelling experience.
* A proactive, inquisitive and commercially focused approach.
* The ability to influence decision making through data and insight.
* Experience working in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools would be advantageous but is not essential.
