We are currently recruiting for an QA Technician on behalf of our well established client in Market Rasen. This is a full time permanent position with growth opportunities.
Working: 12 hour shifts, 6-6, 4 days on 4 days off, 4 nights on 4 nights off.
Salary: £27,824.36
Job purpose:
Quality Control (QC) is a way of identifying and correcting defects and non-conformances in the product. Avoiding problems when delivering solutions to the Quality Management and Manufacturing Management;
Scope:
To work as part of a team of Quality Team in all aspects of the manufacturing & packaging processes.
Principal responsibilities
* Ensuring confidence that the quality of Work in Progress and Finished Goods is high.
* Inspect raw materials to ensure consistency and integrity.
* Conduct start-ups inspections of line clearance.
* Review Work Orders & In-Process (DPR) documents. Raise any non-conformances identified.
* Support and Review/Investigate held stock in warehouse.
* Support production when checking back for faults.
Experience:
* Experience of working in Manufacturing (essential)
* Previous experience of working in Quality assurance or Quality control (desirable)
* Previous experience of manufacturing plastic packaging (desirable)
