Your new role Based in this client’s Newry Studio office you will join a team of c. 15 staff and have the opportunity to take projects from inception to completion. The practice currently use AutoCAD & Revit, with an increasing number of their new projects requiring abilities in the latter. You’ll enjoy a varied role where you’ll have the opportunity to work on a mix of exciting projects across a range of sectors, with access to some impressive healthcare & residential schemes in both Northern and Southern Ireland. You’ll be given responsibility to host client meetings, design team meetings and regularly attend sites to review progress and coordinate information with your team. What you'll need to succeed You will be an experienced Architectural Technologist (or Architect), ideally with at least 2 years post qualification experience within an Architectural practice however the client would also be keen to speak with recently qualified Architects with job running ability and an appetite to develop and progress their careers. It is expected that you will be competent in carrying out the full range of professional services and have a working knowledge of NI / UK building regulations. You’ll be fully proficient in AutoCAD with a knowledge of BIM an advantage but not essential, and equally knowledge of the RoI BCAR system would be a benefit, but upskilling upon will be provided..
