Job Opportunity: Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker
We are seeking enthusiastic Band 3 Healthcare Support Workers (HCSW) for Ward 3 at Glenrothes Hospital. Ward 3 specializes in rehabilitation for older adults, palliative care services, and complex discharge planning from the community hospital setting.
You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote a positive patient journey, developing skills in the medicine of the elderly and rehabilitation. You will join a well-established and experienced nursing team, demonstrating a keen interest and motivation for caring for older persons.
Training and Development
If successful, you will have the opportunity to undertake an SVQ2 or SVQ3 in Health and Social Care (dependent on band) approximately 9 months after starting. This qualification will be fully funded by NHS Fife. Your Line Manager will provide more details once you are in post.
