Level 2 Teaching Assistant – Challenging Behaviour Setting
Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire

Full-Time | Monday–Friday
GSL Education are currently recruiting for a qualified Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within a specialist setting in Scunthorpe supporting students with SEND and SEMH difficulties. This is a rewarding but challenging role, suited to a confident and resilient TA with strong behaviour management skills.
The Role:
* Supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
* Working closely with pupils who present with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs
* Providing 1:1 and small group support
* Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
* Supporting teaching staff to create a structured, safe learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
* Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Has previous experience working within SEND and/or SEMH settings
* Is confident managing challenging behaviour
* Demonstrates resilience, patience and consistency
* Is committed to working full-time (Monday–Friday)
