We are looking for 2 Female Personal Support Assistants to support a lady who has mobility issues with her day to day living. The support is required for 2 hours per day 7 days per week, hence 2 PAs required.
The days and times are flexible between both PAs and to be arranged at interview level. The hours can be split into 2 x 1 hour slots or for the full 2 hours per day. Occasionally, there will be hours banked for longer days/trips out.
Duties include: Cooking, cleaning, laundry, shopping etc, There may be occasional personal care help required. The lady is a wheelchair user when out, in the home she relies on crutches to get her around.
It is essential that the PAs have access to a car to take the lady out, the wheelchair folds up and usually fits into most vehicles.
Exception under the Equality Act(2010)- the post(s) is only open to female applicants due to the personal assistance required.
A DBS is required (fees paid)
The rate of pay is £13.25 per hour and comes with paid annual leave (pro-rata).
