Procurement Implementation & Public Sector Enablement Manager
Birmingham / Hybrid (2 days in office)
We are seeking a hands-on Procurement Implementation Manager to support the rollout and adoption of a procurement solution across local authority and public sector clients.
This role is implementation-led, not a traditional buyer or category management position. You will work with client procurement teams to embed agreed procurement processes into live systems, supporting governance, compliance and supplier onboarding. Legal interpretation and statutory guidance are provided by specialist teams, this role focuses on execution, process accuracy and client adoption.
Key responsibilities
* Implement procurement processes and workflows within a live procurement software environment
* Work directly with public sector and local authority procurement teams to embed agreed solutions
* Support supplier onboarding, documentation and audit-ready controls
* Translate procurement policy and governance requirements into practical system workflows
* Coordinate with internal legal, technical and project teams to ensure compliant delivery
* Support clients through implementation, change and early adoption phases
* Maintain high standards of documentation, traceability and process discipline
This role is ideal for someone who:
