We are working with a London-based Data Centre Consultancy who are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in London, Waterloo.
This person will be working on the design and implementation of mechanical systems within data centre environments, playing a key role in the design, development and optimisation of critical systems that support data centre infrastructure.

Design and develop mechanical systems for data centres, including HVAC, cooling systems, fire suppression, and other critical infrastructure
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems into the overall design
Provide support during the installation, commissioning, and testing of systems
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical design-related issues during the lifecycle of a projectOur Mechanical Design Engineer will have the following:
Data Centre experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience designing mechanical systems in data centres
Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, and fire suppression designs in a data centre context
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
