Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen for an experienced EC&I Technician to join the team at a power station in Rochester, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for all Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) maintenance activities at the station, including planning, contracting, and hands-on execution of maintenance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure high standards of housekeeping and safety.
2. Comply with statutory requirements, including Health & Safety at Work Act and Environmental Protection Act.
3. Prepare and manage contracts in support of station operations.
4. Act as Competent Person or Authorised Person under Safety Rules, ensuring safety from the system.
5. Deliver service and maintenance best practices.
6. Supervise contractors and personnel during plant overhauls.
7. Apply a proactive and creative approach to fault diagnosis and problem solving.
8. Support and deliver Process Safety KPIs.
9. Contribute to business and station objectives.
