Teaching Personnel are currently working with a primary school located in Congelton who are seeking a full-time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to start in September. The school are looking for someone who has a genuine passion for the academic development of young students and is eager to join a school which fosters a positive learning environment through its values.
* Ongoing/long-term
* Opportunity to earn £90-£100 per day (dependent on experience)
The role:
* Working 1:1 and in small groups with students who require additional academic support
* Working collaboratively with the class teacher and other support staff to create and implement individualised learning plans, ensuring the national curriculum is accessible to all learning needs
* Communicating with parents/carers providing feedback and progress reports on students
* Providing general assistance to the class teacher during lesson times, maintaining a positive learning environment and adhering to the schools behaviour policies
What we are looking for:
* A Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or equivalent experience is necessary for this role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff members and students
* Good knowledge of the national curriculum and current behaviour management techniques
* A genuine passion for the development of young students
To be considered for this role, applicants must have an enhanced child only DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one upon registering with Teaching Personnel.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
