As our new Motor Insurance Category Manager, you will make an impact by:
1. Being the subject matter expert for all motor insurance products at UW
2. Managing product performance to ensure we deliver good customer outcomes whilst achieving the UW target financial results
3. Managing the product development and product governance processes, including delivering Annual Product Reviews and Fair Value Assessments
4. Working with the Product / Engineering squad to define the product roadmap
5. Being the point of escalation for all complex product queries, supporting our wider teams across customer service operations, compliance and technology
6. Managing insurance supplier relationships
7. Conducting market research and supporting the insurance strategy process

You will join our Commercial team, acting as the subject matter expert for all motor insurance products. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering squads to build the product roadmap, and collaborate with Customer Service Operations, Compliance, and Technology teams to resolve complex queries and deliver a seamless experience for our members.
Qualifications
To be successful, you will bring:
8. Deep Motor Insurance Knowledge: Expert-level understanding of policy wordings, underwriting rules, and the trading environment.
9. Product Management Experience: Proven ability to manage the insurance product lifecycle and define strategy.
10. Governance Expertise: A strong grasp of financial services regulations, including Fair Value Assessments and Product Reviews.
11. Technical Acumen: Experience working with Product/Engineering squads to translate insurance concepts into technical requirements.
12. Insurer Relations Management: Experience negotiating with and managing third-party insurers or reinsurers.
13. FOS Knowledge: In-depth experience with the Financial Ombudsman Service complaint and dispute process.
14. Data Analysis: Proficiency in interpreting sales, claims, and financial data to inform strategy.
