About the Role:
Based at any of our European sites, in this role, you will coordinate APC activities and collaborate closely with our sites to execute the program plan effectively.
Responsibilities include defining APC business benefits, conducting feasibility assessments, and building a multi-year program based on identified benefits and synergies. You'll lead the deployment of APC applications at sites, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards while driving value delivery post-commissioning.
Additionally, you'll develop and maintain a robust methodology for tracking the value generated by APC, while also enhancing employee capabilities and supporting global change management efforts. This is an opportunity to drive innovation and efficiency in our operations on a global scale.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop multi-year portfolio of APC opportunities with sites
• Perform high level feasibility studies on identified opportunities
• Prioritize APC projects based on business case, implementation, resources and budget requirements into multi-year program
• Support execution of APC projects, including site work where required
• Perform training and refresher training for site support resources during deployment of APC projects
• Set up and maintain APC monitoring to ensure optimal functioning of applications and conduct improvements in combination with site personnel

• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in Advanced Process Control specifically
• Multivariable Model Predictive Control (APC)
• Experience with Honeywell Profit Suite is preferred
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in Advanced Regulatory Control (ARC)
• Knowledge and hands-on PID controllers tuning and troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge and hands-on experience using Python language in Data Analytics context to
• develop inferential predictors and adapt logic to assist Model Predictive Control in context of
• extreme non-linearity
• Good communicator in a context of teaching and presenting technology to people
• Ability to ‘’Sell’’ ideas to sites engineers, operators and managers
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering discipline(required) ideally Chemical Engineering
• Background in chemicals, mineral processing plant, and/or mining is advantageous
• Technical leadership experience
