Job Title: Temporary School Caretaker
Location: Bootle
Hours: Split shift - 7:00am-11:10am & 2:50pm-6:00pm, Monday to Friday

About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive School Caretaker to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth running of the school, maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Opening and securing the school premises at the start and end of the day
* Performing routine maintenance tasks and reporting any repairs needed
* Ensuring the school environment is clean, safe, and well-maintained
* Supporting staff with setting up rooms or equipment as required
* Monitoring and maintaining health and safety standards throughout the school
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a caretaking, facilities, or maintenance role preferred
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Reliable and punctual, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Basic DIY and maintenance skills are an advantage

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
