We're Hiring in Dumbarton and Balloch for *Female Support Practitioners.

Our team is on the lookout for person-centred and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners on a full-time, permanent basis. You don’t need previous experience in care to join our team as a Support Practitioner as we recruit based on your values and transferable skills and will provide all the training you need to succeed, including the opportunity to complete your SVQ.
The Role
Our supported individuals have diverse needs, including Mental Health challenges, learning disabilities, Acquired Brain Injuries, addictions and past trauma. As a Support Practitioner you will assist with all aspects of daily living including meal preparation, medication, going to appointments and activities, managing personal finances, support with moving and handling and personal care. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to take an active interest in the hobbies and passions of those we support.
Whether it’s discovering new opportunities, encouraging social connections, learning new skills or reducing isolation, you’ll help individuals lead the lives they choose.
To be an amazing Support Practitioner, we’ll need you to:
1. Have an empathetic and caring nature.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Confidence in using computers.
4. Be able to work well in a team environment and on your own.
5. Good organisational skills.
Shift Patterns
Our teams provide 24/7 support, including early shifts starting from 7:30am, late shifts, sleepovers, and potentially waking nights. The role will also include working weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis.
