Family Paralegal | Milton Keynes An excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded, specialist family law firm as it establishes a new office in Milton Keynes. You will work closely with the incoming Head of Department, supporting high-quality private family work and playing an important role in the early growth of a new regional base. What You'll Be Doing You will provide hands-on support to a senior family lawyer leading the Milton Keynes office, assisting on a broad range of private family matters while helping to build efficient, well-structured ways of working. Supporting financial remedy, children and divorce matters from instruction through to resolution Drafting court documents, statements, applications, bundles and routine correspondence Acting as a point of contact for clients, assisting with updates, information gathering and ongoing communication Carrying out legal research and preparing clear case notes and summaries Assisting with disclosure exercises, file management and preparation for hearings Liaising with courts, counsel and third parties to ensure matters progress smoothly Contributing to the development of office processes and day-to-day organisation as the practice grows About You You will be a capable, organised and proactive paralegal with a real interest in family law and an appetite to develop within a specialist environment. Previous experience in family law, or relevant exposure through a legal support role Confident drafting documents and communicating professionally with clients Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines Comfortable working closely with a senior lawyer and supporting a varied caseload High levels of attention to detail, discretion and professionalism A positive, team-focused approach and willingness to take initiative Keen to develop longer-term within a specialist family practice What's on Offer You will join a respected family law boutique with a strong regional profile and a proven track record of successfully launching new offices.
