Senior Occupational Therapist – Adult Social Care – North East London Contract: Full-time | Initial 3–6 months with potential for extension A local authority in North East London is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join their Adult Social Care team. The service promotes independence, resilience and wellbeing, supporting adults to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest. As a Senior OT, you will lead on complex assessments, provide supervision to colleagues, and support the development of high-quality, strengths-based practice across the team. Main Duties: Undertake and oversee complex Occupational Therapy assessments, including reablement and Care Act assessments Lead on discharge planning, equipment provision, and complex adaptations Provide professional supervision, guidance and support to OTs, unregistered staff and students Carry out moving and handling risk assessments and ensure safe, effective practice Contribute to safeguarding investigations, multi-agency planning, and risk management Manage a caseload of complex cases, ensuring statutory requirements and service priorities are met Promote service development and best practice within Adult Social Care Support training, CPD activities and peer learning within the OT teamRequirements: Diploma/BSc in Occupational Therapy HCPC Registration Minimum 2 years’ post-qualified experience in Adult Social Care or Co...
