Sales
Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online. Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success. We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.
About the role
As a National Account Executive, eCommerce at Essential Home, you will play a pivotal role in driving the commercial success of our online retail partnerships, particularly through third-party logistics (3PL) partners operating on platforms such as Amazon and eBay. You will be the primary liaison for these partners, ensuring seamless collaboration and optimal performance across sales, margin, and stock availability.
Your responsibilities
* Manage the commercial relationships with 3PL partners (selling on Amazon and eBay), acting as the primary point of contact
* Monitor account performance across sales, margin and stock availability
* Achieve Net Revenue, Gross Margin & Net Working Capital targets for the account
* Analyse data and market trends to identify online growth opportunities, improve forecasting and optimise listings focusing specifically on eCOM levers (content, media, pricing and promotional plans)
* Execute promotional plans, price strategies (in line with hallmark events), and product launches in collaboration with the wider commercial and marketing teams
* Work cross-functionally with Supply Services to ensure sales forecasts are accurate and adequate stock levels are available within the customers supply chain system
* Work with marketing teams and advertising agency to implement best-in-class promotional execution and visibility on Amazon
* Support SNAM with regular business reviews with internal stakeholders and lead quarterly customer days with 3PL partners
The experience we're looking for
* Degree calibre candidate with proven experience in account management, preferably within the eCommerce, FMCG, or consumer goods sector. Added plus if experience with or for Amazon and/or eBay, ideally in a 3PL context.
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Commercially minded with a keen eye for detail and proactive approach to problem solving
* Hunger and desire to take our business to the next level.
* Action-oriented and energetic, with a focused and pragmatic approach to problem solving and a strong desire to make things happen
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environment
* Desirable skills, but not essential:
o Understanding of eCommerce platform algorithms, vendor/seller central
o Experience in P&L management or exposure to financial reporting
o Familiarity with supply chain processes and stock planning
