Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Primary School Location: Stevenage Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Full-time) Start Date: As soon as possible We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a welcoming primary school in Stevenage. This is a full-time role supporting pupils in the classroom and helping them reach their full potential. Typical Responsibilities Include: Supporting pupils in their learning across different subjects and activities. Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management. Working 1:1 with children who have additional learning needs (e.g. SEND, behavioural, or emotional support). Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils build confidence and independence. Supervising children during activities, transitions, and break times. Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and other key skills. Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Providing feedback to teachers on pupil progress and any concerns. Assisting with record-keeping and other general classroom duties. Key Requirements: Must hold an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one.
