We are looking to appoint a Health, Safety & Wellbeing manager to oversee HSW performance on a major roads JV infrastructure project.
On a day-to-day basis, you'll be responsible for:
1. Monitoring programme-wide HSW performance, risk controls and compliance with CDM/BR and industry standards
2. Conducting assurance activities, inspections and reviews based on risk and contractor performance
3. Attending Pre-start and Readiness reviews to confirm works are planned and resourced safely
4. Building effective working relationships with Project Directors, Delivery partner HSW teams and supply chain representatives
5. Championing innovation to safely reduce cost, risk and delivery times
6. Preparing accurate weekly and monthly HSW reports using data from multiple sources
7. Promoting an inclusive, respectful working environment, supporting diversity and psychological safety

On top of that, you’ll have:
8. Proven experience in HSW management on large, complex or high-risk infrastructure programmes
9. Sold knowledge of HSW legislation, CDM, Building regulations and ISO
10. Experience of delivery HSW training
11. Demonstrable experience of audits, inspections, management systems and behavourial/cultural programmes
12. Achieved Chartered status or be working towards it
13. Good analytical skills with the confidence to challenge and advise
14. Competence in Microsoft office and digital reporting tools
15. A collaborative and adaptable customer-focused approach
