A leading law firm in Newcastle is seeking a Senior Lawyer to join its growing Dispute Resolution team. With over 125 years of history, the firm is known for providing high-quality, partner-led legal advice across the UK and beyond.
Role Overview:
The firm’s Dispute Resolution department is expanding, and the team is looking for a Senior Lawyer with experience in one or more of the following areas: property, commercial, insolvency, or intellectual property litigation. This is an opportunity to manage a diverse caseload and play a key role in the department's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handle a range of complex disputes, including commercial contracts, shareholder disputes, contentious probate, and more.
2. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
3. Supervise and develop junior team members.
4. Contribute to business development and generate new work.
Requirements:
5. At least 10 years’ PQE with significant litigation experience.
6. Strong expertise in one or more of the following: property, commercial, insolvency, or IP litigation.
7. Proven business development and client relationship skills.
8. Strong leadership abilities and commercial awareness.
