Proactivity and the ability to spot and develop opportunities to maximize asset value are essential.
You will have an RICS-accredited degree with member-level status of the RICS.
About the role:
This role covers all aspects of Estate Management, including lease renewals, rent reviews, new lettings, re-gears, valuations, acquisitions, and disposals, as well as general estate management, debt management, and repairs across a wide range of property types, including commercial, operational, and community assets. Candidates will be expected to liaise closely with other services to help them achieve their objectives through property solutions, as well as with external stakeholders, community organizations, and tenants.
About the team:
The Council manages an extensive and diverse property portfolio that includes retail, light industrial, offices, leisure and community premises, arts venues, and a shopping centre across the City. Our portfolio generates significant income, which needs to be proactively managed to enable rental and capital growth. The Estates team is a small but busy, commercially focused unit working across this portfolio, providing estate management, valuation, and property advice.
