We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to join our busy Village Shop on a part-time basis as a Retail Sales Assistant but with the ability to cover in our busy hot food kitchen as well.
Previous experience in a convenience store/newsagents/off-license is preferred and kitchen/hot and cold food preparation experience is essential as a Level 2 food Hygiene Certificate is required.
The successful candidate will:
* Be extremely customer focused
* Be flexible, reliable and team orientated as well as be able to work on own initiative to complete tasks required and have an organised approach to their work
* Have the ability to maintain good product knowledge at all times
* Possess excellent communication skills to be able to deliver the first-rate customer service that is expected in this industry.
Please note that due to selling alcohol and other age-restrictive products, only applicants over 18 will be able to be considered.
