Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee the operations of our care facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in assisted living and home care, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills to manage our team effectively. This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care plans tailored to meet the needs of our residents, including those with dementia. The Care Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for both staff and residents.
Duties
* Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
* Develop, implement, and review individual care plans tailored to meet the needs of residents.
* Supervise and support staff in delivering high-quality care, fostering a positive working environment.
* Oversee medication administration and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
* Conduct regular assessments of residents' health and wellbeing, adjusting care plans as necessary.
* Maintain effective communication with residents, families, and external agencies to ensure continuity of care.
* Provide leadership and training to staff to enhance their skills in senior care, dementia care, and other relevant areas.
* Ensure that all health and safety standards are met within the facility.
Experience
* Proven experience in a management role within an assisted living or nursing home setting is essential.
* Background in nursing or related healthcare field is highly desirable.
* Experience in developing care plans and supervising staff in a senior care environment.
* Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care practices is an advantage.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
