Join us for a unique opportunity to work as a Forensic Psychologist in Training across the Yorkshire and Humberside Personality Disorder Partnership (YHPDP). The service focuses on trauma-informed engagement to improve outcomes for individuals with a diagnosis of personality disorder. This is a training role, and successful applicants will be interviewed jointly with Cardiff Metropolitan University. Further details about the course and application process are available here: [Insert link]. As a trainee forensic psychologist, you will need to secure a place on this programme. The role involves working independently under supervision, in accordance with HCPC and BPS guidelines, with clinical supervision provided by a qualified forensic psychologist. This is a full-time position, with responsibilities aligned with training competencies within specified timeframes. The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is a leading provider of mental health and learning disability services, offering various benefits including flexible working, NHS pension, training opportunities, and discounts. The role is a 3-year fixed-term appointment, with potential progression to a permanent band 7 forensic psychologist position upon successful training and registration. The organisation values diversity and inclusion, providing support and development opportunities. Applicants should have a BPS-accredited undergraduate degree in Psychology, a BPS-accredited MSc in Forensic Psychology, and at least 1 year of relevant forensic psychology experience. The role involves complex communication, organizational skills, and the ability to work across the region, including travel.
