Role Overview
An exciting opportunity to join a friendly and supportive engineering team in a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities
* Electrical and mechanical fault finding and maintenance
* Respond to breakdowns and complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM)
* Participate in continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades
* Work closely with production teams to improve safety and performance across the site
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment
* Strong electrical and mechanical fault‑finding and maintenance skills
* Relevant engineering qualifications
* Experience working in a fast‑paced production environment
* Understanding of continuous improvement and reliability practices
Desirable Requirements
* Experience with conveyors, three‑phase, sensors, PLC's
* Previous experience working as a maintenance engineer in the UK
* Knowledge of continuous improvement
