Join SYTECH as a Submissions and Exhibits Officer and play a vital role in our digital forensics operations! As a Submissions and Exhibits Officer, you will be responsible for providing crucial administrative support to our forensic analysts and case managers. Your efforts will help streamline case processing and ensure that all documentation is accurate, secure, and compliant with established procedures. In this multifaceted role, you will manage the day-to-day administrative tasks, including the management of electronic and physical exhibits, tracking case statuses, coordinating timelines, and assisting in quality assurance processes. You will ensure effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders, maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail. Your contribution will be essential in sustaining the quality of our forensic services while enhancing the overall efficiency of our operations. Requirements Key Responsibilities Maintain and manage case files, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Organise and track physical and digital evidence, creating and updating logs to maintain chain of custody. Assist forensic analysts in preparing reports and documentation for case presentations. Facilitate communication between team members and external stakeholders, ensuring all parties are promptly informed of case developments. Support the quality assurance processes, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the implementation of best practices. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies regarding data and evidence management. Perform general office tasks, including scheduling meetings, managing correspondence, and maintaining files. Qualifications and Skills Previous experience in an administrative or office support role, preferably within a forensic, legal, or regulated environment. Strong organisational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work. Proficiency in using standard office software and document management systems. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Understanding of forensic processes and terminology is a plus. A proactive approach and a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures. Full UK Driving license – Desirable Travel between sites may be a requirement of the role.
