Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Operative
Location: Hainault Forest, UK
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 07:30 - 16:00
Pay Rate: £13.15 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our client's team in Ilford. This position is perfect for someone passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The role involves a variety of tasks that ensure their grounds are presented to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct general maintenance duties including strimming, hedge cutting, blowing, and operating a ride-on mower.
2. Perform detailed landscape maintenance tasks such as edging, grass cutting, weeding, planting trees, shrubs, and seasonal bedding.
3. Carry out pruning activities to maintain the health and aesthetic of plants and trees.
4. Ensure all tasks are completed safely and in accordance with our quality standards.
5. Operate and maintain tools and equipment responsibly.
6. Work collaboratively with the team to ensure all areas of the grounds are well-cared for and presentable.
Requirements:
7. Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential.
8. Proficiency in using a wide range of landscaping tools and machinery.
9. A strong commitment to safety standards and protocols.
10. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
11. Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
