Department Description The Compliance team of Hogan Lovells is responsible to carry out client due diligence (CDD) on new and existing clients of the firm. This is mainly done by applying the most recent UK Money Laundering Regulations. Amongst other things this involves identifying and verifying who controls and owns the client entity and assessing the risk posed by the business relationship. Role Overview The Security Compliance Analyst will support Hogan Lovells Information Security capabilities to ensure the firm operates in compliance with regulatory, client and industry requirements for cybersecurity. The individual in this role will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and closing compliance issues related to access management while ensuring internal systems meet security control standards. Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities Conduct access certification audits and identify noncompliant permissions. Evaluate firm compliance with key security policies and ISO requirements, document variations for remediation. Generate actionable metrics for leadership review. Maintain internal team documentation. Follow up on questions, problems, or suggestions and respond to employee inquiries with the appropriate level of urgency. Specific duties or responsibilities may be reviewed from time to time to reflect changes in personnel and management structure, staff location or services. All members of the firm participate in our Responsible Business program. Person Specification Qualifications and Experience Undergraduate degree preferred. Strong technical understanding of MS Office applications with a focus on Excel and PowerPoint. 2 years of experience within the field of cybersecurity, information risk management, identity and access management or internal controls testing. Familiarity with various security compliance tools, such as SailPoint, Tenable, Microsoft Security Suite. Experience evaluating controls over IT processes. Familiarity with security control frameworks, such as ISO27001, NIST CSF, NIST 800-171. Broad knowledge of risk management, access governance, and third party risk. General Attribute Keen attention to detail and accuracy in order to analyze documents.
