Lead Utilities Permit Coordinator
Working for a consultancy supporting developers and residents in town planning application permits.
Location: Worthing
Salary: £40,000 basic
Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
Role:
Supporting a project team in processing new planning applications, working with local authorities, contractors, and homeowners. Coordinating a team of administrators to ensure documentation is complete and managing stakeholder relationships.
Responsibilities include managing multiple planning applications, understanding the process, building relationships, and communicating effectively to prevent delays.
Job Requirements:
The key element is understanding street works, utility permits, or the planning application process. Experience coordinating permits for utilities, civil engineering schemes, street works, fibre networks, or similar is preferred. The role is based in Worthing, West Sussex, with a hybrid working pattern. Applicants should reside in the local region.
