Banana Moon Day Nurseries are seeking a dedicated and passionate Room Leader to join our team. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of nursery practitioners to provide exceptional care and education for children in your room. You will ensure a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment that supports children's development and learning according to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Key responsibilities include: Leading, supporting, and motivating the room team to deliver high quality childcare and education. Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities that promote children's development across all areas. Ensuring all nursery policies and procedures are followed, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Building positive relationships with children and their families to support individual needs and progress. Monitoring and assessing children's development, maintaining accurate records and reports. Contributing to the overall smooth running of the nursery. Requirements Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent. Previous experience leading or supervising a team within a nursery setting. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to plan and deliver stimulating and developmentally appropriate activities. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
