We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Legal Officer to fill a 9-month fixed-term post dealing with disrepair claims within the Housing & Litigation Team in Legal Services.
The team deals primarily with housing, regulatory matters, disrepair, anti-social behaviour, prosecutions, licensing, commercial property and debt recovery.
The successful applicants will have excellent attention to detail, excellent organisation skills, good drafting skills and the ability to work to strict and often conflicting deadlines while managing their own caseload.
Recent experience of ICT is essential. Experience within a local authority legal department would be an advantage but is not essential as the post is within an experienced and supportive team.
