You'll design and deliver training across substation fitting modules, support technical qualifications in power engineering, and assess learners against national standards. You'll play a key role in developing the next generation of engineers while continuing to build your own career within training and education. This role would suit someone with a background as a Substation Fitter, Electrical Technician, HV Technician, Substation Engineer or similar within electricity distribution or transmission. The Role: *Deliver training across substation fitting modules *Support delivery of technical certificates in power engineering *Assess learners against national qualification standards (NVQ / Diploma / EPA) *Design and develop high-quality training materials *Deliver compliance and safety training related to distribution activities *Support learners throughout their full training and assessment journey *Maintain high standards of health, safety and training delivery The Person: *Background in substation fitting, HV/LV distribution, transmission or power systems *Experience as a Substation Fitter, HV Technician, Electrical Technician or similar *Minimum of 5 years' experience within electricity distribution, transmission or related sector *Strong practical experience in fitting, jointing or wider substation activities *Good communicator with the ability to support and develop others *Interested in moving into a training/instructor role and building a long-term career Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd acts an employment agency for permanent roles and an employment business for temporary roles.
