Job Title: Water Recycling Operator
Are you interested in working outdoors and resilient to adverse weather conditions? Do you excel in decision-making, reporting, and communication? Our Salisbury water recycling team is looking for a dedicated Water Recycling Operator to join us.
What you'll do
As a Water Recycling Operator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Managing the operation and maintenance of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations to meet quality standards.
2. Operating advanced wastewater treatment and sludge processing plants.
3. Ensuring compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures.
4. Maintaining health, safety, and welfare of colleagues, the public, and yourself at all times.
5. Providing emergency cover on the standby rota and participating in a shift pattern when required (average of 40 hours per week).
What you'll need
Essential requirements include:
* Experience working unsupervised in an industrial or process plant.
* Electrical or mechanical experience (desirable).
* Confined spaces training (will be provided).
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English, maths, and a technical subject.
* Willingness to work outdoors in all conditions.
* A valid driving license.
