Key Responsibilities
1. Support and lead on planning applications, strategy development, and project management
2. Conduct detailed research and analysis to guide client proposals
3. Advise on planning risks and opportunities, aligning proposals with planning frameworks
4. Engage with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultant teams
5. Communicate advice and arguments clearly-both in writing and in person
6. Stay on top of deadlines, risks, reporting, and project budgets
This is a broad role that evolves with your skills. You'll also collaborate with other departments and disciplines across the business.
What We're Looking For
7. RTPI member (or working towards it), or RICS (Planning & Development)
8. Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
9. A problem-solver with great interpersonal abilities
10. Ambitious, curious, and ready to grow
Advantagous if you have:
11. Experience in both development management and policy work
12. Public sector or private consultancy experience
